RK Scraping sticks provide the easiest coating method, with RK scraping sticks for accurate, repeatable surface coating on most substrates. RK wire rods are rods with grooves of different shapes wrapped around stainless steel rods with precision stainless steel wire drawing. These grooves allow precise control of wet film thickness. The coating thickness of RK wire rod with close winding is in the range of 4~120um, and the higher coating amount of 150~500um can be obtained by spiral winding rod. Wire rods are used for research, testing and quality control in the detection of inks, paints, viscoses and various emulsions. RK wire rod suitable substrate including paper, cardboard, plastic film, metal foil, etc.

The thickness of the wet film for ASTMD823-53&BS3900 coating can range from 4 to 500 microns. Equipped with stainless steel ink wire rod with special printing bed, with good reproducibility ink wire rod number, and color marking.
Detailed operation of RK rod:
1. First prepare the appropriate size of the base material for proofing. RK can provide two kinds of proofing paper for proofing (500 sheets in one package, half of the proofing paper is glossy paint, the other half is non-glossy paint)
For small press bed, size 12×21cm
For large press bed, size 18×31cm
2, put the base material on the press bed, clamp it.
3, select the appropriate type of ink wire rod (please see the relevant information), placed on the press bed, near the clip.
4, the paint or varnish for proofing is placed near the clip, about 1cm below the ink wire rod. (the amount please master)
5, with both hands to hold the ink wire rod at both ends, at a constant speed and pressure to the ink wire rod to the operator’s own direction, please pay attention to the operation process do not rotate the ink wire rod.
6, after proofing, put the ink silk stick into the appropriate solvent inside cleaning, dry with cloth. Please note that the ink wire should always be kept in dry state
