分割器，在機械工程上又稱凸輪分割器、間歇性分割器、凸輪分度器、高速精密間歇分割器、滾子式凸輪分度機構。它是一種高精度的回轉裝置。同時在當前自動化的要求下，各種多工位元組合機床、機床加工中心、壓力機、電光源設備、自動送料機、印刷機械、食品包裝機械、制藥機械、玻璃陶瓷機械 等顯得尤為重要。
1926年，美國機械師福克森（FERGUSON）于1926年生產出靠前臺凸輪分割器,后來凸輪分割器又稱福克森。
1970年，JAPAN SANKYO SEISAKUSHO CO(三共)推出了亞洲靠前臺分割器。
1976年，TAN TZU中國臺灣潭子精密機械股份有限公司推出靠前臺分割器。
1990年SKD臺中縣賽福動力精密機械有限公司推出靠前臺高速精密間歇分割器。
2010年ENTRUST臺北縣新莊市殷敬精密工業有限公司靠前臺高速精密間歇分割器。
2009年BOSS TAN TZU CAM中國臺灣博森凸輪科技因客戶需求在大陸推出進口配件組裝靠前高速精密凸輪分割器。
